First hydrogen fuel station unveiled
The first hydrogen fuel station has been unveiled, this relatively small fuel station can be stored in your home, although customers would need a hydrogen powered car to go with it, however, the fuel station can be used for heating and cooking.
Using hydrogen as a fuel has always been a desired fuel for a car because it provides a eco-friendly fuel to power cars,
however, the greatest obstacle has been the lack of hydrogen fuel stations, until now.
Although the current fueling station can only produce enough fuel for a 25 mile car journey, there is a hope that a higher-pressured refuelling unit will produce enough fuel for a 100 mile journey.
According to the maker of this prototype fuelling station, if they were mass produced for commercial use they could cost around £2000, he believes that the fuelling stations will be produced commercially by the end of 2008 and the first customers would be large companies which use many vehicles, such as the Post Office.
